~ Beautiful Dreamer was Grandma Shipp's favorite
~ The Very Thought Of You also makes me think of her, it's not one of her favorites but it brings on the nostalgia and I love Billie Holiday
~ Barbra Streisand was my Dad's favorite, and since I couldn't find the song I liked best of hers to add to the playlist, I did find one I liked. My favorite is featured on youtube, though!
~ Softly As I Leave You was sung by Sam at Pop's funeral. Only Michael Buble recorded it right, though. Don't singers know that when they sing a tender song, it should be sung tenderly? Wish I had a way to put Sam's rendition on here. It was perfect.
