On Sunday, Feb 9th, 1964, we were some of those millions of Americans who "tuned in" to the Ed Sullivan Show to see The Beatles! I'm sure that not all of the viewers were as thrilled as the 11 year old girls were, but there I was. This was an historic landmark event that was part of promoting a new style of music that came from across the ocean to forever change the sounds of rock and roll.There were other bands that were part of "The Invasion" but the Beatles and Herman's Hermits were THE ONES!
When I'm 64 was the other song I couldn't get for the playlist so again, I found it on youtube.
