The Lord made us miss a temple session?

What do you call it when you set your alarm early so that you can go to a temple session and it doesn't go off? Not only that but you miss your freeway exit just to turn around, go back to the right exit and find a stalled train blocking the road, making us wait for 15 minutes and then giving up and driving into unfamiliar neighborhoods in order to go around the train? Here we make appointments to attend because the sessions can fill up, so we reserve a spot.
By the time we entered the temple, Mark and I found ourselves standing before three tall brothers and one sister, dressed in white, who almost all said in unison, "So you're the Chandlers?". I thought, "Oh boy, we're in trouble now!", but actually, they wanted to ask us if we would help out with some sealings instead of doing the initiatory work we had already rescheduled to do, and of course we said we would.
We spent about half an hour in the sealing room, mostly assisting with sealing sons to parents. When they said we were finished for now we felt like we couldn't stay longer because of needing to get home to take care of some things, so we went to change. On the way out the sister who had brought the names we did said that she hadn't known what they were going to do because they really wanted the names finished today and when we walked in she felt so relieved, knowing that they would all get done.
Her prayers were answered and so were ours because her ancestors were sealed, and we were still able to do some temple work, and return home fairly early! Small miracles happened because we missed a temple session.
